A little (4K) open source JavaScript library for creating site tours using, well, your site. Opens up a little skinable window over the top of your real pages and handles the tour navigation. Now if we could just have some arrows and highlights…

New York Times Reader
Most software lets you know it’s there, reminding you that by the grace of God and the good will of a programmer you are alive and able to get your work done using a computer. The Times Reader is not such a beast. It is a demonstration of how well-considered design can let you get on with achieving your goals and not get in the way. I love reading the NYT this way: columns and pages, full screen, resizeable. I’ve had this on my laptop for a while but the recent upgrade seemed like a good excuse to talk about it.
